Hello, my name is Suzanne!

MY VITALS

Occupation: Web Designer, writer
Home town: Philly born, lived many places.
Location: Capital region of NY
Astrological sign: Capricorn
Why I LOVE Adam: His multifaceted talents -- perfect tone & pitch, and his amazing range -- the degree of self-awareness he has while still being young.

Love & Hugs from me

MORE ABOUT ME...

I joined this wiki because: I want to speak up about the voting irregularities with the way American Idol handles phone calls and/or processes votes. Am weary of the wrong people being given the win time and time again. When even the person winning knows there's something wrong, then obviously someone needs to speak up!

The best word to describe me is: Accepting (you only gave us one word after all!)

Interests: Writing, web editing, poetry, reading S. King, Clive Barker, Koontz & Mc Cammon ... among many others. Adore most genres of music with the exception of 50's and country, just not my favorite things to listen to! Adore movies ... favorites lately being "Star Trek" and on Blu-Ray DVD ... "Australia" (should have been nominated across the board!) and "Bolt." (Again, among many others!)

Favorite movies: Oops. see above. If you saw our book and DVD library, you'd know better than to ask me for favorites. Hey, I've been around half a century already, there's a lot to love in that time! LMBO!

Favorite TV shows: Dollhouse, Fringe, all the CSI's, The Mentalist, True Blood, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Paranormal State, Ghost Hunters (see a pattern here? LOL)

My hero(es): My brother

My superpower is: Believing I can still change the world somehow. someday.

If I could live anywhere, it would be: In a state of bliss .... <smile>

My dream job(s): Been there, done that ... hated them all! LOL, actually, wish I'd known about music promotion or forensic science back when I was young. I did love D.J.'ing in dance clubs back in the 80's, now that was a blast! Rather liked managing a multi-screen, sub-run movie theatre back in the late eighties, early nineties ... a lot of work, but it really gets in your blood.

What else you should know about me: So go to www.WooWebDesigns if you're really that bored already! Needs updated, but I'll be getting to that soon. Check out this site and friend of mine too: www.CraigDeanto.com.

Suzywoo2 Adam Voting Fiasco! Phone Calls Blocked Final Night 0 May 25 2009, 2:30 AM EDT by Suzywoo2

Before you write this off as being some B.S. post from just some teeny bopper, disgruntled fan or whatever, please take into consideration these basic facts: #1) I have nothing to gain and a lot to lose by posting my comments to the web in this day and age, just with SPAM alone -- #2) I am NOT a younster by any means, although watching Adam can certainly make one feel that way ... no, I am actually 52 years old at present. Am doing this not only because I hope the "powers that be" will take note, but because the system definitely needs changed when it comes to the American Idol voting rules and regulation.

Here is the plain and simple truth -- For two hours I attempted to place votes via the various toll-free numbers provided for Adam on the final voting night but failed far more times than I succeeded in getting through. (By the way, when did Idol stop letting the singers post recordings in their own voice to thank you for voting?) No matter which number I called, the results were the same - either a busy signal or nothing whatsoever, as if the call did not go through. For the record, we don't have any issues with our phone; we don't live in the boondocks, Capital region of NY actually. With repetitive dialing the entire time, I was only able to place 12 votes for Adam the 2nd hour! (sadly did not keep track the 1st hour, didn't know I'd need to) I told my fiance right then and there, Adam would lose the next night.

Only because history has shown how those with real talent from A.I. succeed despite the games, tricks and public shenanigans am I not concerned for Adam's future. I see Adam breaking records set not only by Daughtry & Carrie Underwood, but J. Hudson as well. He's multi-faceted and will no doubt be around for a long time to come.

Perhaps one day A.I. will do right by everyone. But for now, congratulations Adam, you are the real winner!
