I will NEVER vote again on the American Idol Show. Doesn't mean I won't watch it....just wont waste my time voting. It had to be fixed. Half the time I hit Adam's redial phone number it said: "Thank you for voting for Contestant #/Kris". It was fixed, I don't care what anyone says.... It happened too many times while my family and I redialed to vote for Adam...NOT KRIS.

Kris may be outselling Adam in the song, but I wonder if that is so because of the negative attention it received after the young men sang the song. The judges treated Kara terribly and many fans did not purchase Adam's rendition of the song, but, Kris's fans probably thought the song put him on top of the competition.

I give great credit to Adam for how he handled the American Idol finale. In his case, it won't matter. The guy is going to be a HUGE star.
But the fact is, many of us are pretty ticked. Chris is a nice guy, good voice, but there is NO WAY that he won. When you have results like this, you lose your viewing audience. Honey5004 |

i don't think it matters who won all that much, because they're both very talented and really amazing, and adam just got unlucky and lost. it's not something we need 2 stress over now that it's over

I felt that the voting was skewed due to the fact that the media and of course Ryan Seacrest keep referring to Adam as the "guy with guyliner" and "the person who will win AI". Prejudice is nothing new- a talented young man such as Adam who dares to take risks should be rewarded. Perhaps changing the voting so that the public votes but after the final performances, the judges are given a certain number of votes to add to the public vote. The judges saw talent in Adam and should have the opportunity to add votesto the contestant who has the most talent during the competition. Kris did a fine job but if I was to vote for pure talent, Adam would have won.

Yes, a change is needed. Let's hope "A Change is Gonna Come"! I voted like a mad woman on the last night (for Adam) and was only able to get through 22 times in 4 hours. Doesn't make sense to me. The week before I voted for TWO HOURS and got through over 200 times. Huh. Sure makes you wonder what was going on. I do believe Adam should have won. And I definitely believe that AI needs to rethink their system, or I'm not voting again. One (wo)man, one vote works for me.

Doesn't anyone remember that the second to last AI, Ryan announced that there was one million votes separating the first and second place, I would say that that should have brought to AI attention that something was amiss, one million votes, come on now! It is too bad that this has happened. It was the same problem with Clay vs the winner, you could not get thru to vote. So something is going on and AI is behind it, I am just glad that I did tune in to watch one of the nights and I heard Adam, what a singer, I watched every Tuesday night thereafter. I can only hope that Adam handles his life like he did during AI, afterall all we really care about is his singer, can't hardly wait for his CVD!!!!

If every vote cost you a buck, how many times would you vote???
I think AI loves to give us those big numbers but it is irrelevant. It should be how many people voted not how many times they voted! So you think you can dance cost me per vote. I am more reserved with my votes. |

They either need to make it that only one call , or text is accepted from each number or leave the voting up to the judges.

What do you think? Definitely. Even Ryan Seacrest said during the broadcast that people were unable to get through? Please 4 hours all those lines and the West Coast adds more hours to the East Coast. I saw how they are doing the voting for Britain has talent w/Susan Boyle the heavy favorite. The finale is tomorrow (Saturday) evening. They have a great voting system all done on the same night. I do believe that FOX is going to have to look into this very carefully because AT&T lost a lot of customers over this and the accusations are going to stick for a while. To me, Adam is the "WORLD IDOL" that is what I call him way above anyone else. Simon Cowell even said it! Adam you are so gracious and being just YOU and it is refreshing. I strongly believe you got it, but you won't be tied down like the winner will be and be able to do your own thing! Benefits and reasons for everything that happens.

Well,,, I had a strange experience when I voted for Adam,,,During the second hour,,when the man should have said,,"thank you for voting for contestant No 1,,he said "thnnk you for voting for contestant No 2" now this is after I had been redialing several time,,so I had to hang up and redial the number again,,,I would hear it was for Adam and then all of sudden it was for Kris,,,it made no sense that they would switch the line to someone else,,,I didn't do it because I had already gotten several votes in,,,and all I did was redial,,I got a lot of votes in before that started to happen,,,it happened to some others too,,If I hadn't listened to the whole message, I would have been voting for Kris without knowing it,,,what is with that???

There is A lot to sasy about how people win in that show i feel that because you can't call in all the time some people give up i wasd able to vote 3 times for adam but to know tada it was sading i have the marks to prove it . i fail out my chair and hit my knee but back to it .ya the idea that kriss won should let you know that there was something up as many fans as adam has the hipe about kris were know were near it in which case i demand a recount kris should of asked for one when he won the look on his face said he did
