Im thinking A change is gonna come but then again.. I love adam's voice so pretty much love anything he sings. WHen he sings I just am in awww of him. I voted all 4 hours last night. He better win. He is the best AI has seen in years.

I agree with you 100%...I also voted all 4 hours, with lots of help...we had 5 phones going at once! My fingers are crossed for Adam!

Adam was the better on all 3 songs; but "A Change Is Gonna Come" was passionate and just plain excellent.

You know what? I went back, rewatched on my DVR and on AmericanIdol.com, and it's almost a tossup between Mad World and A Change is Gonna Come. Absolutely hated the No Boundaries, because it's just a terrible song, not because of Adam. I'm on pins and needles and will def have withdrawals after tonight,The lines were jammed for the first 1 1/2 hours. Then not quite as much, then at midnight Eastern time, I could get in every time. I don't want to read too much into that - refuse to think about it! Do you find this valuable? |

"Was it Mad World, A Change is Gonna Come, or No Boundaries? Post your answers below"I'd vote for "A Change is Gonna Come", even though I love Adam's take on "Mad World". I'd been hoping that he'd do an R&B song. Amazing. I think that his original performance of Mad World was slightly better - he was either playing it very low key last night for broader appeal or was simply at a lower energy level than usual i.e. understandably exhausted. I loved his Mad World black coat - even if SImon didn't - along with his tender interpretation. He definitely outshone Kris on the new release "No boundaries", which is a song that few if any seem to like. Don't know why Kris didn't change the key but I guess that I'm glad he didn't! Adam is slightly ahead in the polls as I write but it will be a nail biter until the end. Either way we're so very proud of you Adam! You're a superstar! You SO deserve the Idol crown. MAD WORLD WAS AWSOME ADAM DOMINATED!!!! i loved how he sang that song that both him n Kris had 2 sing(4get the name). ADAM SUNG THAT WAY BETTER!!!! HE WILL WIN!!!

Ok, if we are talking the last performances, I would have to say Mad World was phenomenal...A Change is Gonna Come runs a close second! The original songs are always so odd for me every year...they are new songs that don't always "fit" ya know? I wasn't crazy about the original song this year BUT if I had to choose, Adam (again) was far better! As far as finale night, Adam's performance with KISS absolutely rocked me to the core...I got chills and could not shut my mouth for the entire performance. It was beyond amazing! When he started singing Beth I thought I was gonna come right out of my seat...I am in love with this man!
