American idol needs to revamp their voting system

They either need to make it that only one call , or text is accepted from each number or leave the voting up to the judges. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Most definitely! I think that maybe the Judges should decide. It obviously can't be left up to America. I don't know if I'll watch next year. After the AT&T scandal and the fact that Adam did not win although he was clearly the best. He had NO competition from the first day. He was in an entirely different league than the others. I don't believe that the voting was fair. Why were we limited to only 3 numbers each. Last year I believe there were 5 different numbers for each contestant. It would hav opened up a lot more phone lines. Another disadvantage is that only AT&T customers can text. That makes a big difference due to no busy signals and group texting. If someone voted nonstop for 4 hours it is quite possible to place more than 50,000 votes with 1 phone. Everyone should be allowed to text their vote or no one should. Is this about sponsorship or do you want to have a fair voting system for the contestants. I'm sure there are other sponsers besides AT&T around, afterall it is the #1 show in terms of ratings.Please, this whole voting thing is a farce. Either fix it or get rid of it.
