I have nothing against Paula as a person, in fact I think she's really nice and sweet to the contestants having said that I must say that she drives me UP THE WALLS when she starts with all the funny word usage... I don't knw if it would make much difference with or without her... I honestly prefer Kara...

She adds a dynamic to the show. Take AGT for example and they replaced Jerry Springer with Nick Cannon. Some might think that was not a big deal, but the show's dynamics have completely changed. I watched it last year and the year before, but not this year. Something feels off. I don't know what it is.I think without Paula, I may not watch the show anymore because the dynamics will be off. I enjoy Paula on the show. She's the perfect antithesis to Simon and they balance each other. I don't think I'd watch the show without her.

I like Paula, but I think Kara adds so much more intelligent comments. Kara is sort of a softer Simon as far as her comments being genuinely helpful. Randy does the gut-level "was it cool" factor, and Paula has always said sort of sweet, gentle, coddling things (e.g. "you did your thing"). I don't think Paula is essential to the show, I'm sorry to say.

No Paula?!This is terrible! It's always been "the golden trio" of Paula, Simon, and Randy, and then all of the sudden they threw in annoying and shrill Kara that was doubted as a judge since the beginning. I honestly, have never gotten used to her being a 4th judge.(which there never should've been in the first place, anyway) And, now that Paula's gone, Kara's going to take over. Needless to say, it's just going to not be the same without Paula. 10 out of 10 found this valuable. Do you? |

I've already decided that I'm not going to watch another season. There's no point. Adam is my American idol, and he can't be beat. That having been said, I've always thought that Paula brings a lot of heart to the show, and it would be a mistake not to bring her back.

Paula is so wonderful. But she is so drugged up on pain meds all the time and slurring her words. I hope that she can get the help she needs.

jmo..I am an Idol fan , think they lucked out ' Finding Adam'..all four judges compliment one another. like Kara .she's a songwriter..worked with the best.. She's very serious, but saw a different side of Kara..loved it..with ' Bikini girl '.. just love the way Paula and Simon interact that's so important.! love Randy.! U can still B Adam's fan. .' Don't stop believing"

The only logical reason for any judge to leave is the time crunch created to get all opinions in without going over. But then, we've gotta have 50 long-winded sponsors, too, don't we.

I think she's good for the contestants as a cheer leader, but bad for some viewers like me. I think she adds little to critical views and can't stand her bantering with Simon. It's waste of time watching her comments. Although, I have to give it to her, when she gets it, she gets it big; such as "Adam Lambert".

It's definitely a BAD thing! They need to keep Paula!!! I really like Paula, so what if she seemed a little "crazy" sometimes due to her pain medication? She's perfect for this show, and it will NOT be the same without her! I really like her, all the contestants love her - remember how Adam's face always lit up and he would smile and laugh whenever Paula would compliment him? She was one of HIS idols, don't forget!!! #KeepPaula on twitter (to the person who asked, Paula said on twitter that they haven't offered her to come back yet! she is sad and hurt by it)
